Michael Wilkinson     

Michael has over 30 years experience in the risk related management of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, emergency response and business risk management.
He has PhD in civil law negligence, a BA (Hons) degree in the application of technology to process plant risk, together with a number of professional qualifications related to occupational health, safety, environment, and risk management.
       
He is a corporate member of a number of professional bodies, including the Institution of Occupational Safety
& Health, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Royal Society of Health, the Strategic Planning Society and the Institute of Risk Management. Michael has gained an extensive worldwide experience in health, safety and environmental risk management and has worked on a number of prestigious major projects including the new Hong Kong airport, the Amoco CATS offshore gas project and the Abu Dhabi gas liquefaction plant. Michael has also presented many seminars and lectures to a wide and diverse range of industrial and commercial sectors, including presentations, workshops and courses covering health and safety, environmental management, emergency management, management auditing, business risk management and process plant safety systems.

He is the author of a number of articles, model document sets, HSE management system guides and booklets. Michael is currently writing a book on ‘HSE Risk Management - An intergrated approach'.
